Hits Mobile Game Review
Getting a deep understanding of your games has never been easier – now you can check your games right from your phone with Game Review! Wherever you are, you now have access to all the tools you need to analyze your games.
Your new mobile game review now looks much more like what you can find on the web. After each game, you can press “Start” to review every move and let your trusty virtual trainer show you all the key moments of the game. Just like on the web version, Coach will stop at your last book move and show you the name of the opening, your performance with it, and some moves the masters play in the resulting position.
After pressing “Next”, Coach will continue and stop whenever there is a key moment – a good move you made or where you could have avoided making a mistake. Every time he hits one of your missteps, he’ll give you the chance to up your game by performing a different move.
Diamond members can now also benefit from the explanations of the coach on mobile! The coach will tell you the purpose behind each move and explain why a move was good or bad.
New Analysis Table
Game Review isn’t the only thing that’s changed. You can now start an analysis board directly from your phone. Whether you want to set up and check a specific position or review a game while reading a chess book, this is the perfect tool to improve your chess game. You can even choose to see engine rating, lines or arrows indicating threats and best move. Just go to the Learn tab and start analyzing games!
Other improvements
The new version of the app brings many other improvements that will make your mobile chess experience smoother and more enjoyable. Below is a list of all the changes we’ve made:
- Revamped game tab that makes it easier to navigate and displays your daily puzzle series.
- You can now challenge your friends to a game using a QR code (Android only).
- Bots now have more personality and will talk during a game.
- You can watch your favorite top players by going to the Watch tab.
- Use the stats screen to see how you stack up against other players.
- Discover your opponents on the all new profile screen (iOS only).
