PS VR 2 will launch on February 22, 2023and it can be yours for an exorbitant price of 869 SGD / 2,799 MYR / 10,599,000 IDR / 22,190 THB / 34,790 PHP / 17,890,000 VND.
At this price, you’ll take home the PS VR 2 headset, PS VR 2 Sense controllers, and a stereo headset. A separate batch with Horizon Call of the Mountain will see the price jump to 939 SGD / 2,999 MYR / 11,499,000 IDR / 23,890 THB / 37,390 PHP / 19,390,000 VND. If you’re looking for the full package, be sure to also get the PS VR 2 Sense controller charging station, which retails for SGD 69.9 / MYR 229 / IDR 899,000 / THB 1,699 / PHP 2,790 / 1,490,000 VND, and launch the same day.
The technology that powers the new device is certainly interesting, but it may be too expensive for the average consumer, as it will cost more than a PlayStation 5 console, and that’s if you can find one in the wild.
However, if you choose to be an early adopter, there are already plenty of games to look forward to. Apart from the above Horizon Call of the Mountainthe launch date announcement also comes with 11 new PS VR 2 titles featured for good measure.

The Light Brigade
From the mind of Funktronic Labs comes a new single-player roguelike experience filled with immersive shooters and brooding mystery. As the last line of defense against the Darkness, you will enlist in the ranks of the Light Brigade and travel the Sunken World as many times as necessary. Mr. Peterson’s Spooky House takes on a new level of VR immersion, and there’s nothing scarier than seeing that familiar shadowy tower above you just before everything goes black. . You will return to this house and play as six little neighborhood heroes as they face their fears to free their friend who is being held captive in a strange basement prison.
Jurassic World Aftermath Collection
This reworked version of the popular adventure and survival game combines parts 1 and 2 into one complete collection. Set between Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, players land on the notorious Isla Nublar and find themselves trapped in an abandoned research facility. Your mission is to collect valuable information and survive while avoiding a host of ferocious and familiar dinosaurs.

Sony expects over 20 titles at launch for PS VR 2, and will have more details on the full lineup of launch games in the future. This gives us plenty of time to save up if you want to be one of the first to try it out.
